From our beginnings at a “brush arbor” meeting in 1915 to the spacious facilities we occupy today, North Etowah Baptist Church has been about people… reaching, teaching, and caring for people in Jesus’ name. North Etowah was organized on December 17, 1916, with 30 charter members and currently has over 1,000 members. Originally located on North Georgia Avenue, the church moved to its current location on Pennsylvania Avenue in 1948.
Through the years, the church has grown and developed ministries to accommodate the changing needs of people in the Etowah community and around the world. We are committed not only to mission giving, but to going and ministering in Jesus’ name, whether it be local or abroad.
North Etowah Baptist Church is, “today’s church united in love and purpose to go, reach, teach, and win people for God’s kingdom.”
